The Christmas tradition of banning all Christmas traditions goes from strength to strength. The other day, a reader passed on the e-greeting card he’d received from a British client wishing him a “Happy Festive Period”. Ah, there’s a phrase to warm the heart. Here’s what I had to say on the subject four years ago in The Daily Telegraph:
